Smoking tobacco can cause chronic bad breath as well because its smell lingers in your mouth for a longer, unable to dissipate. Smoking also lead to teeth enamel and gum damages which increases the risk for periodontitis, yet another cause for bad breath because the weakened gums easily trap tiny food particles that promote the growth of oral bacteria and plague. Generally, smoking harms the entire body in many ways beside causing bad breath and stained yellowish teeth. It is recommended that smoking be quitted as soon as possible such that you do not have to put up with bad breath nor spend more money to whiten your teeth.
